Your perspiration is normal to heavy when perspiration and odors affect your quality of life and interfere with your daily routine. Perspiration is composed of two types of sweat:
– the sweat secreted by the eccrine glands, composed of 99% water and odorless.
– the sweat secreted by the apocrine glands, rich in fatty substances and prone to developing an unpleasant smell when bacteria come into contact with the skin.
Daily use of an antiperspirant capable of curbing perspiration surges before they appear is therefore recommended.
